About Us

Non-Profit Corporation

The nonprofit foundation was formed to help young adults who are interested in or who are currently in pursuit of an education in a secondary education setting specializing in Automotive/Collision Repair. We provide grants to individuals via financial awards, and support those who need it. Carroll Car Foundation was founded with the intent to help educate young adults in San Antonio and beyond while also feeding the need for qualified technicians in the Automotive/Collision Repair industry.

Sometimes bad things happen to good people. Carroll Cars Foundation, Inc. was established to help provide hard working individuals and families going above and beyond in there community with a working reliable vehicle.

Our History

Non-Profit Corporation

Non-Profit Corporation

Since the early 2000s the collision industry has experiencing a shortage of qualified and well-trained entry level employees. The country's technical education system was no longer able to produce enough high-caliber graduates who could meet industry needs. in response the board of directors formed Carroll Cars Foundation, Inc. Today, nearly two-thirds of the 1,370 collision repair schools in the united states use the I-CAR Live curriculum which covers all the necessary training information to provide an excellent entry level professional.    Secondary and post-secondary schools nationwide have experienced severe funding cuts from Federal, state, and local sources. As a result, schools may not be able to provide adequate funding for their collision training programs, despite full class enrollment. In addition, collision repair students traditionally have not been offered the same scholarship and financial aid support as their counterparts in other post-secondary educational institutions.

The CCF Foundation is committed to awarding substantial annual support, both to students and entry and intermediate level professionals.  We are also committed to promoting the collision industry as an excellent career and one of the last real “hands-on” trades in existence.
